Extended 3-Year Warranty for Framed Paintings

We take great pride in the quality of our artworks, and we are pleased to offer you an Extended 3-Year Warranty to ensure your satisfaction and confidence in your purchase. This warranty covers all artworks purchased directly from Mossmood and is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Warranty Coverage:

We warrant that the artworks you purchase from Mossmood will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. This coverage includes the materials of the artwork and frame.

2. What is Covered:

This warranty covers the frames and the integrity of the artworks themselves. Integrity includes issues such as paint chipping, moss disintegration under normal use, and frame stability. We guarantee that they will remain in good condition and free from manufacturing defects under normal use and care.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from:

  1. Accidental damage, abuse, or misuse.
  2. Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  3. Exposure to extreme environmental conditions (e.g., excessive humidity, direct sunlight).
  4. Natural variations in the wood, including minor knots, grain patterns, and color variations, as these are characteristics of real wood and not considered defects.

2. Proper Care Instructions: 

To avoid exclusions, please follow these care instructions:

  1. Maintain ideal humidity levels (40-60%).
  2. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
  3. Clean the artwork with a soft, dry cloth.

4. Warranty Claims:

To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase from Mossmood. Please contact our customer service department at info@mossmood.com to initiate a warranty claim. We may require you to send photographs of the issue for assessment. Claims should be made within 30 days of noticing a defect. The customer is responsible for shipping costs during the claims process. Mossmood will reimburse the customer in full if the claim is granted.

5. Resolution Options:

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Mossmood will, at our discretion, either:

  • Repair the artwork or frame.
  • Replace the defective part.
  • Provide you with a store credit or a refund.

The resolution process typically takes 2-4 weeks, and customers can track the status of their claim through our customer service.

6. Limitations:

Our liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the artwork. We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. This limitation is in place to ensure that we can provide fair and manageable resolutions for all our customers.

7. Transferability:

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the artwork. For gift purchases, please ensure the recipient is aware of this policy.

8. Statutory Rights:

This warranty is in addition to any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable laws. For example, statutory rights may include guarantees that products are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

9. Warranty Duration:
